Traditional constructed, New Build Community Centre, JCT(2011) Intermediate contract.

The project consisted of a new community centre and associated external works and parking facilities. The stand-alone building was erected next to the existing community hall which was maintained for access throughout the build.

Piled foundations with strip footings, brick clad timber frame building with pcc ground floor, and a trussed timber roof.

Finishes are a tiled roof, with integrated PV, facing blockwork, with new timber doors and windows. Externally, a new ramped access road, 2nr car parking areas, and external seating area with Gazebo.

BEC started trading in November 2003 with the completion of a new Maths block at Swadelands School in Lenham. Since then we have expanded and have 5 projects that are all currently active.
