Shortlisted for the RICS Social Impact Awards 2020

Appleton Lodge New Care Facility

We are very pleased to announce that BEC have been shortlisted for the RICS Social Impact Awards.

The Appleton Lodge has been nominated for the Best New build – for Health Care and Residential for the South East Region, and if this project is successful then we will go forward to the National Awards which will be held later in the year.

These awards are following a new format where they recognise the positive impact schemes like the Appleton Lodge and many more have on the community’s we all live in.

Rob Barlow the Managing Director was in charge of this project and Glenn Parker was the Site managers, who are both very happy that their hard work and dedication to this project has been recognised.

We will find out if we are successful in winning and moving forward to the national awards in June 2020 at the South East Black tie Gala Dinner. So watch this space and wish us luck!

A new luxury facility located on the RBLI Village in Aylesford has been developed to provide 15 exceptionally spacious specialist care apartments, with flexible living spaces, light and airy rooms and modern en-suite facilities. RBLI’s brief was to deliver a space that offered a ‘home from home’ feel and to provide high end facilities that will improve their overall care offering. The scheme received the honour of being opened by Her Majesty the Queen.

BEC started trading in November 2003 with the completion of a new Maths block at Swadelands School in Lenham. Since then we have expanded and have 5 projects that are all currently active.
